ChefsGarden Week will again be wowing the crowds with the Grow It. Cook It. Taste It. cooking demonstrations that celebrate an earthy, back to basics approach to growing, cooking and tasting real food, fresh from your garden.

The all-star line-up for 2012 includes Adrian Tobin from Hospitality Wise, who cater to Qantas lounges, Vince Gareffa from Mondo Butchers, Telina Menzies, Executive Chef at the Publican Group, which has The Aviary and The George in its stable, Theo Kalogeracos from Little Caesars Pizzeria and Executive Chef Chris Taylor from Frasers.

Ferguson Corporation

The chefs will be cooking a range of dishes from pizza to seafood, all complimented by fresh herbs, vegetables and fruit straight from the garden on an alfresco kitchen, custom made by Ferguson Corporation.

Taste and enjoy the food prepared and even take a recipe home to try at 10.30am and 1.00pm Thursday to Sunday and at 10.30am Monday.

Scarecrow

Therapy Focus Scarecrow Competition
Promoted by Garden Week and Therapy Focus to West Australian primary schools, the Scarecrow Competition will encourage children to design and construct a scarecrow to be displayed at Garden Week.

Visitors have the chance to vote for their favourite scarecrow and go into the draw to win a Yates product pack.

The the winning school will be awarded with two complete garden beds provided by the team at Great Gardens.

TheraTherapy Focuspy Focus is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to helping children and young people with a disability or learning disadvantage.
